Yes! If you install an update of JourSail, all data you entered so far will be preserved and be available in the new version. But please note that you mustn't delete JourSail before you run the update - otherwise your data will be lost forever.
Please also have a look into the manual of your iPhone or iPod Touch and make sure you are familiar with using iTunes.
